Students in Mrs. Reedy's class worked together to complete a SCR response on perspective using the RACE method. Students loved seeing the color coated breakdown and I had a great conversation about why including text evidence is important!

Mrs. Airehart's class read a story this week about school providers and their importance and made "pencil" treats for our student's staff/past teachers and some others to end the first week sweetly.

When you tell your staff not to do anything for your birthday and they do it anyway...feeling blessed.

If you need to pick up your student who normally rides the bus, you must come in person to the front office before 2:30 to sign them out. We won't make last minute changes, but are happy to help if you call the front office or use class DoJo to contact the teacher before noon.

The district Field Day Trophy looks great in the Townley display case!

We got the trophy today for winning the district Field Day for 2024. We get to display it all year in our trophy case and we plan on it staying here for awhile. Thank you to James Polk, our Bulldog Athletic Director, for bringing this tradition back to Everman!

Welcoming students on the 1st day at Townley!

We will have car riders and daycare drop off in the morning at 7:15 in the front circle drive with Mr. Brooks opening car doors and Mr. Clark greeting and opening the front door. Bus riders will be dropped off in the back with Mrs. Gissel and other staff on duty. Teachers will have a "how do I get home" form filled out on the morning of the first day including either car rider or bus number to be dismissed to. Car riders will be escorted by the teachers and dismissed at the front of the school for 1st and 2nd grades, and on the north side parking lot for 3rd-5th grades. Parents will be allowed to walk students into the front foyers where staff will greet and monitor students but will not be allowed to escort students to class. On the first day registration will continue in the library, where students will be held until registration is complete and a class has been assigned. We will allow parents to eat with students starting the first week of September after they have checked in the office with a valid I.D. The first day of school is Monday, August 12. Regular school hours are 7:50 to 3:20. We will start letting students in at 7:15 to eat breakfast. Parents it is important to have students at the bus stop at the assigned times for your stop.

First Day of School is Monday, August 12th. Make sure to register and check out the Parent Hub for registration information, handbook, and other resources. Click Here: https://www.eisd.org/page/parenthub
