🍕Simplifying Fractions! Instructor King's math scholars are working with fractions. Ask your student to practice fractions by sharing pizza with the family 🍕
📈 Graphing Fun! Instructor Ibarra's math scholars made a "Graph of Me!" Students answered questions about themselves to make a graph. 📈
Common Based Assessments. Monday October 21st, through Thursday October 24th, students will be taking their CBA. Please be sure students get rest, charge their chromebooks and bring their charger to test. Thank you!
Artwork! Art students are learning about value and texture. Value is a concept in color that refers to how light and dark a color is. Once students master value, they are moving onto texture. Texture is the perceived surface of the artwork, experienced with sight and touch.

Green Team! The Roy Johnson STEM Academy worked hard this past Saturday on October 12th cleaning up the outside of school. They picked up plastic bottles and caps and made STEM Shine as bright as the Scholars at STEM. Thank You, Green Team and Instructor Welch!

October is National Bullying Awareness Month! Roy Johnson STEM Students have set in presentations to learn definitions/signs/prevention/and how to report bullying by our counselor. Bulldogs wear orange today to stand up against bullying!
National Dictionary Day! Noah Webster’s birthday October 16, 1758. Practice using dictionary skills and increasing one’s vocabulary on this day.
