The school-home compact is a written agreement between administrators, teachers, parents, and students. The purpose of this compact is to foster the development of a school-parent relationship to help all children achieve high academic standards.

Students Pledge: I will...

  • Let my teachers and family know if I need help.

  • Read on my own and with my family every day.

  • Work on my math and reading skills at home, using the materials my teacher sends home.

  • Write down assignments, do my homework every day, and turn it in when it's due.
    Participate in class and not attempt to interrupt the learning of others.

  • Be responsible for my belongings and come to class prepared.

  • Show respect for teachers, students, and the building.

Family Pledge: I will...

  • Ensure regular two-way, meaningful communication with my child's teacher.

  • Use the materials the school sends home each week to help my child.

  • Read with my child everyday as instructed by my child's teacher.

  • Help my child pursue his/her interests and goals.

  • Assure that my child gets sufficient rest each night.

  • Assure my child attends school regularly.

  • Provide an area for my child to complete homework without distractions

  • Support my child and the school by attending campus events.

  • Grade assignments promptly and send papers home in a timely manner.

  • Make sure all students get help as soon as it's needed.

  • Provide a supportive and effective learning environment that enables children to meet the state's academic achievement standards.
