Campus Safe and Drug-Free Plan 2024-2025

Dan Powell Early Learning Academy seeks to foster a safe and drug-free environment. The 2024-2025 goals for illegal drug and violent incidents are to provide a caring community that provides and fosters education on the harmful effects of bullying and drug abuse.

In order to reach our goal and convey the clear and consistent message that the illegal use of drugs and acts of violence is wrong and harmful, Dan Powell Early Learning Academy plans to provide instruction in substance abuse and gangs through our character program and social emotional learning curriculum. During Red Ribbon week we will bring a focus on how to be drug free. We focus on an Anti-Bully Program to promote safety at school. We are also part of the district's Stop It program where the community can report any instances of campus safety and bullying concerns.
