Hello Dan Powell Families,

I am honored and thrilled to introduce myself as the new Principal of Dan Powell Early Learning Academy for the 2025–2026 school year! This year is especially meaningful as we proudly celebrate the 5th anniversary of our campus, a milestone that highlights the incredible growth, dedication, and community spirit that defines Dan Powell.

Our theme for the year, “Building Young Minds for a Brighter Future,” captures the heart of our mission. We are committed to laying a strong foundation in math, reading, and social-emotional development to help every child thrive academically and personally.

My journey with Everman ISD began in 2010 right here at Dan Powell when it was a 5th and 6th grade campus. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various roles including assistant principal, instructional coach, and librarian. Now, returning as principal to lead our vibrant early learning community feels like a full-circle moment.

With 25 years in education, I’ve learned that the most meaningful impact comes from building strong relationships and creating joyful, purposeful learning experiences. I am truly excited for the adventure ahead and look forward to getting to know each of our students and families.
