I’m so glad to be at Dan Powell, serving the bright young minds in our community. I’ve been married for 28 wonderful years and am blessed with 7 children and 8 grandchildren! I’ve always loved dinosaurs, but my greatest joy comes from working with kids.

This is my 12th year in education. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Educational Psychology from Capella University. I’ve taught 3rd and 5th grade, all elementary levels in Special Education, and have served as a Behavioral Support Teacher, School Counselor, and Assistant Principal. Counseling is truly my calling.

Outside of school, I enjoy swimming, baking, and listening to audiobooks.
